EDC
The EDC is Alvarado’s most popular waist high turnstile. Designed for reliable security in facilities, stadiums and buildings, Alvarado’s EDC is simply the finest three-arm turnstile available. The clean, graceful lines of the EDC are suitable for use in any installation. No external bolts or fasteners are used in either the fabrication or anchoring process, and the unique bullet style head and arms provide an extremely comfortable patron passage width. Internal components include stainless steel investment grade castings and hardened stainless steel locking components. Hydraulically dampened arm rotation with automatic arm self-centering offers patrons a smooth, effortless rotation experience. The electrically controlled version of the EDC uses state-of-the-art technology. A rugged industrial grade controller, electronic rotation detection, bi-directional interface and time-out functionality are all standard on electrically controlled EDC’s. The EDC integrates easily with any identification and access system. A large terminal strip interface and helpful field diagnostics simplify installation and troubleshooting.
EDC-BN
Alvarado’s EDC Bullnose turnstile provides the performance of Alvarado’s superior EDC turnstile in an extremely attractive “bullnose” style cabinet. The elegant profile of the EDC Bullnose makes it suitable for any upscale installation. No external bolts or fasteners are used in either the fabrication or anchoring process, and the unique bullet style head and arms provide an extremely comfortable patron passage width. Internal components include stainless steel investment grade castings and hardened stainless steel locking components. Hydraulically dampened arm rotation with automatic arm self-centering offers patrons a smooth, effortless rotation experience. EDC Bullnose electronics are state-of-the-art. A rugged industrial grade controller, electronic rotation detection, bi-directional interface and time-out functionality are all standard on electrically controlled models. EDC-E
The EDC-E turnstile has the same interior electronics and mechanical components as the EDC, in an extended length turnstile cabinet. Longer turnstile arms are an option with the EDC-E turnstile. For access control applications, EDC-E electric turnstiles are easy to install and easy to integrate into the facility access control system. The electric locking turnstiles have a rugged industrial grade controller that simplifies integration and testing. Electric models also include features such as optical rotation detection (no mechanical micro switches to break or continually adjust), and adjustable time out functionality (the time the turnstile takes to relock if an entry activation unlocks the turnstile but there is no passage).
EDC-EBN
The EDC-EBN turnstile has the same interior electronics and mechanical components as the EDC, but with an extended length rounded cabinet design. Longer turnstile arms are an option with the EDC-EBN. For access control applications, EDC-EBN electric turnstiles are easy to install and easy to integrate into the facility access control system. SLT
Alvarado’s SLT turnstiles offer reliable access control and accurate patron counting at a cost-effective price. The SLT is a waist high, three arm turnstile that offers a wide patron passage width in a streamlined, compact design. Internal components are stainless steel and precision cast to provide years of trouble-free operation. The SLT’s hydraulically dampened arm rotation and automatic arm self-centering provides patrons with smooth, effortless turnstile passage. The SLT is also available as an electrically controlled model (SLTX) that can be used with most access control systems or readers. For added versatility, the SLT may be ordered as a portable unit. The portable option includes a non-skid base, wheels and stainless steel guide rail.
